As a tutor for Academic Connections Tutoring you have the wonderful opportunity to bring lasting change in the life of a student.

Through one-on-one tutoring in-home or online you will be able to influence and impact your students by weekly, helping them work through their academic challenges so they can excel and emerge to a place of confidence and comprehension.

Your knowledge, experience and expertise will be used every week to help student problem solve, think critically and creatively and break through the barriers that have hindered their academic journey. Through resources, activities and tailored tutoring, you will be able to offer insight and understanding.

There is nothing quite so rewarding as hearing a student say, "I get it now!" and then watching grades improve, knowing that the student you helped is now not only equipped for this class but has been taught skills and strategies that they can use for years to come.

Using our T.H.I.N.K. and Grow Smart Blueprint^TM, you will be able to help your students:

Tackling Academic Challenges
Hone in on strengths, skills, talents and gifts
Investigate and implement student’s learning style and approach
Notify and work with key team players in your student’s support team
Kick into action and work with your student until he/she is walking with confidence and comprehension
