Our in-home consultation is one of our distinguishing marks as it is a time for you to get to know us better,
the owners of Academic Connections Tutoring, plus it gives us the opportunity to personally meet you and your
child.
During the consultation we will make an informal evaluation as we gather information from you
and your child by asking questions regarding attitudes toward learning, their organizational skills, as well
as questions about the specific subject/s with which they are struggling. This will enable us to place the
best tutor from our tutor pool that meets your child’s specific subject need, learning style and personality.
The in-home consultation is also a time for us to walk you through our T.H.I.N.K. and Grow Smart
BlueprintTM, that is the basis of our philosophy and from which our tutors operate
as they use your child’s curriculum.
